The history of the museum

In 2019, the Support to Javakheti Foundation initiated the restoration of the exhibition hall, which was in a deplorable state. Even in the conditions of a pandemic and war, the Foundation was able to implement the first stage of the project, as a result of which, thanks to persistent and consistent work, the exhibition hall of the Vahan House Museum was restored Teryan, and on August 1, 2021, the opening ceremony took place with great solemnity.

And now preparations are underway to restore the memorial part of the house-museum, my father’s house.”

On August 1, 2021, the exhibition hall of the House-Museum of the great poet was opened in the native village of Gandza of the famous Armenian poet, lyricist and socio-political figure Vahan Teryan․

Restoration work at the Vahan Teryan House Museum was initiated and carried out by the Support to Javakheti Foundation in 2020-2021.
